The Verb Hotel in Boston has expanded its footprint with the introduction of a new outdoor hospitality experience. Known as Backstage at the Verb Hotel, the new urban glamping concept comprises fleet of five luxury trailers—soon to be joined by an additional five units—situated between the midcentury hotel property and iconic Fenway Park.
In partnership with Spot On Ventures, locally based development group Samuels & Associates conceived the trailers to reflect the hotel’s rock ’n’ roll history and the artistic roots of Boston’s vibrant Fenway neighborhood, with each unit dedicated to a different music legend.
“We designed Backstage to evoke the feeling of freedom that comes with being on the open road, to make guests feel the nostalgia of their favorite bands and how it would have felt to have been touring alongside them in their heyday,” says Samuels & Associates founder and chairman Steve Samuels. “We want our guests to feel like the VIPs they are, enjoying an exclusive experience usually reserved for those on the stage.”
Inspired by vintage RV designs, the custom trailers are also equipped with modern amenities like a step-in rainfall shower, king-sized beds, gallery lighting, and an elite sound system. A mix of metals, saddle-stitched faux leather, and wooden headboards enliven each interior, while external chrome details channel the handlebars of a chopper, further evoking the theme of life on the road.
Backstage at the Verb Hotel also features semi-private outdoor spaces accented by lush greenery in addition to full access to all of the hotel’s onsite amenities.
