The Tyson’s Corner, Virginia outpost of casual eatery Earls Kitchen + Bar is housed in a 10,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed building that serves as the base for a residential tower above.

The Earls in-house design team employed a mixed palette of concrete, wood, leather, and marble.

A wooden trellis ceiling meanders through parts of the interior and extends to the outside. 

A chandelier made from an aluminum LED lights and suspended from a recessed wood ceiling—a brand standard—illuminates the main dining room, while a signature piece by artist Ricky Alvarez represents the street plan of nearby Washington, DC. 

The wine bar shows off the space’s mix and match aesthetic, with ocean-hued sofas, marble tables, and a mix of chairs. 

A generous patio slopes to an above-grade point and includes a mix of lounge and table seating.
