Having opened three years ago, Bootsy Bellows is a recently revamped brand concept in West Hollywood owned by the h.wood Group, David Arquette, and the Hakkasan Group. Founder of locally based design firm Built, John M. Sofio was charged with redeveloping the space with a vintage burlesque theme.

The midcentury-inspired club’s intimate layout consists of two areas—a primary function space and a VIP room—connected by a sinuous corridor layered in vintage antique mirrors and metallic wallpaper.

The venue’s primary function area is marked by circular cabaret booths, diamond-shaped wall panels covered in a lush, pink material, and a backlit sign bearing the club’s name.

An angular ceiling clad in gold and bronze mirrors highlights the VIP room, which features a 1920s disco ball. According to Sofio, “the space has a high-end living room feel straight out of a Rat Pack-era home.”
