The venue is housed in the top three floors of the California Tower in the city’s Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district, and comprises three distinct spaces—the 24th floor dining area; the 25th floor Club Lounge, where the bar (shown) is fronted by perforated pony skin that lights up to reveal an intricate floral pattern; and the 26th floor Skybar.

“We used red, the new brand’s signature color, as the main accent that connects the whole space,” says Terence Ngan, co-founder, with Ed Ng, of AB Concept. For example, a screen-like partition behind the Club Lounge reception desk is made from red temple discs with a Southeast Asian-style silhouette.

Adjacent to the backlit wine cellar, a main staircase was sprayed with black piano coating, decorated with eel skin leather, and accented by a textured lizard skin handrail.

The dining level features a ceiling with antique mirror elements that reflect light from a statement chandelier covered in live plants. “Because Bali is known as a green island with rainforests, we wanted to bring the outside in to create a staple look with the chandelier,” says Ng.
