A serviced apartment and hotel in Frankfurt, Capri by Fraser was conceived by Hamburg-based JOI-Design as the country’s first Capri-branded property from Frasers Hospitality. Details within nod to Frankfurt’s pervasive corporate culture, and juxtapose fashion-inspired elements.

A merger of couture styling and art, the hotel’s lobby “feels like a modern living room, with stylish yet playful touches that imbue a sense of warmth,” explains JOI-Design co-managing director Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk.

The lobby’s artwork in chunky black frames, curvaceous mirrors, and yellow details all create visual links that flow seamlessly from space to space.

In Caprilicious restaurant, the team zoned a range of eclectic seating options to accommodate intimate conversations and lively events. Its quaint atmosphere is punctuated with groupings of low- and high-backed chairs.

The fashion-conscious Drinx bar pops with a constellation of pendant lights, an abstract wallcovering, and a monolithic, leather-lined bar that glows from below.

The hotel’s 153 studio and one-bedroom apartments reinterpret traditional business attire with delicate embroidery, woolen upholstery, and finely seamed leatherwork. Wallcoverings feature deconstructed houndstooth checks highlighted in gray and yellow detail.

While high-style fashion photography imbues the guestrooms with polished glam, softer touches introduce residential comfort for long-stay visitors.
