Hotel Covell was conceived by Los Angeles-based designer Sally Breer of Co-Mingle. Inspired by a fictional character, the small property’s five suites are called chapters, and include Chapter Four, where nude sketches grace the walls of one bedroom.

Chapter Four was designed with a New York-meets-Paris aesthetic that is also young and playful, featuring bold graphic patterns, wood furnishings, and a simple kitchenette.

In its entirety, the Chapter Four suite features two bedrooms, a sizeable kitchen, and a sunroom. “It’s luxury, but there’s a quirk to it; there’s a sense of soul,” says Breer.

A bathroom’s walls and floors are covered in white subway tiles divided by four black lines made from tile liner.

Chapter Four’s living room is swathed in many shades of green, including wallpaper depicting malachite stone at an exaggerated scale.
