Sliding blackened steel doors allows for more zealous crowd direction in the music venue.

The Music Box’s original horseshoe bar is replaced by a long quartz-topped bar located near the entrance.

Made from powdercoated aluminum organ pipes, an art piece by sculptor Chris Tuzio accentuates the venue’s musical influence. 

Poured-concrete stairs retained from the original club link the main floor with two upper gallery levels.

The Gensler team enhanced the Music Box’s strong acoustics by adding curved, sound-absorbent booths and remodeling the angled wood ceiling.

Artists worked from Gensler’s concept sketch to create a music-themed mural on the second gallery level.
