A former São Paulo estate in the city’s Burle Marx Park has been transformed into the Palácio Tangará, a new urban retreat from the Oetker Collection.

The serene lobby boasts a chrome-plated brass installation from Laura Vinci, which suspends above the reception desk as a reference to Brazil’s history with gold.

Tangará Jean-Georges restaurant continues the understated color palette, evoking a subdued charm, while expansive windows embrace the lush scenery.

The hotel’s swanky Burle Bar, named for Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, features photographs of Brazilian landscapes.

The centerpiece of the wine cellar is artist Pedro Petry’s wood table made from a fallen tree in the rainforest, another nod to the outdoors.

The hotel spa is home to both an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a private garden.

Guestrooms are distinguished by four color palettes, including beige, blue, green, and gray, which create a cozy environment.
