Arc Beverly has arrived in Beverly Hills. The private members club transforms a Los Angeles architectural landmark into a multi-layered social hub where work, dining, culture, and wellness converge across 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space.
The concept comes courtesy of Good City Studio, a vertically integrated design and development firm founded by David Gutstadt and Amanda Potter, who helped shape Equinox Hotels and other lifestyle membership models like Fitler Club and Ballers.
“Membership clubs are experiencing a real renaissance across the country, and yet there is still a void in Los Angeles specifically,” says Potter. “We’re answering this need by creating a lifestyle ecosystem where people can work, connect, and recharge all under one roof, complete with a restaurant-quality dining program typically found in the best social clubs.”
Flexible spaces at Arc Beverly
The architecture and interiors preserve key original elements—including a sculptural wood staircase—while pairing warm woods, pale tiles, and midcentury cues with custom furnishings by multidisciplinary firm WHY Architecture.
Arc Beverly’s design balances productivity and restoration, weaving sunlit lounges, lush greenery, and garden-like nooks into a calming counterpoint to the bustle of the neighborhood. Members can choose from dedicated desks, private offices, casual coworking zones, and multiple conference rooms, alongside more immersive amenities like a screening room and expansive event-ready terraces that transition from day to evening.
Programming for the community
Arc Beverly has partnered with wellness innovators and cultural creators to introduce an ongoing lineup spanning rooftop recovery sessions—like cold plunges and compression therapy—to game nights with the Venice Backgammon Club, pop-up comedy from Don’t Tell Comedy, culinary workshops, and weekly wellness activations.
The club also delivers a robust culinary offering led by newly appointed culinary director Victor Totoris, whose program will extend from daily dining to hands-on cooking classes and seasonal events.
