Inspired by its natural surroundings and deep cultural roots, Bahia Principe Grand Tulum will soon make its debut on November 15 following over a year of renovations. As Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts flagship property when the brand first arrived to Mexico over 20 years ago, the Bahia Principe Grand Tulum has been completely transformed.
The property melds the area’s natural fauna that with the Mayan-inspired architecture, the display of rich cultural traditions, and preservation of the land. The ode to the Mayan origin can be seen upon arrival in the grand breezy lobby where a massive pillar stands in the center adorned in symbols and engravings of the historic civilization. Similar accents can be found on the facades of structures throughout the resort.
Using a neutral color palette and textures that are inspired by the earth and surrounding nature, the resort’s guestrooms feature sleek design for ultimate comfort and functionality. Available in four categories, each room includes a sitting area that creates a relaxing residential-like space.
Bahia Principe Grand Tulum is located within the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort. In total, there are four resorts within the complex, four spas, various swimming pools, fitness centers, a convention center, commercial areas, and the PGA Riviera Maya by Bahia Principe 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trend Jones II.
