Mekong Kingdoms, a luxury river cruise operator in Southeast Asia, has added Bohème to its fleet.
The 164-foot-long Bohème, designed by Thailand-based San Win Tun Co., completed its first return journey between the Kingdom of Laos’ royal capital, Luang Prabang, and the national capital, Vientiane, in December.
The Bohème experience
Designed to offer an exclusive, boutique experience, Bohème accommodates up to 26 passengers in its 13 suites. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and premium amenities, such as a high-quality sound system, Nespresso coffee machine, and minibar.
The understated design is rich with tactile qualities, from bed throws made from Laotian Ikat fabric to blonde wood parquet floors and silky-soft bed linens.
Located on the lower deck, each of the 323-square-foot Deluxe Suites feature a cozy living room, en-suite bathroom, and private balcony for views of the Mekong River. The 280-square-foot Premier View Suites on the main deck are characterized by Laotian design motifs, plush furnishings, and a Juliet balcony.
For the most exclusive experience, passengers can book the 646-square-foot Royal Suite, complete with a private sundeck, a freestanding bath positioned by the window, and dedicated butler services.
