Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa—nestled between the rolling Hampshire countryside and the dramatic Dorset coast—has revealed the first phase of its reimagining, ahead of its 60th anniversary in 2026.
One of the first English members of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux association, the beloved country house hotel is ushering in a new era with a striking redesign led by London-based studio Goddard Littlefair.
The transformation breathes modern elegance into heritage spaces: intimate lounges will now glow with roaring fireplaces, while the restaurant has been recast in a conservatory style, layered with deep forest greens and amber hues. The bar, meanwhile, evokes the richness of vintage claret and polished oak.
Together, the spaces create a narrative rooted in Chewton Glen’s natural surroundings, from the forest to the sea.
