CityHub’s first international location in Copenhagen, Denmark, will open next month. Designed by Danish studio Spacon & X, the location will be CityHub’s largest yet with 215 hubs.
The concept strives to fill a gap between hotels and hostels. The experience includes a balance of private areas and communal style of living, optimized use of space, a digital-first stance, and access to local savvy CityHosts. The Copenhagen property was previously used for retail.
CityHub was launched five years ago in Amsterdam by Pieter van Tilburg and Sem Schuurkes, targeting Millennials. In addition to the Amsterdam location, the brand counts a property in Rotterdam in its portfolio.
