With offices in Portland, Oregon, Seattle and San Francisco, Ankrom Moisan Architects has launched new independent design collective, the Society, which will focus on design for hotels, resorts, and restaurants and will be led by the firm’s executive vice president Karen Bowery. The 10-member team from the Seattle and Portland offices will work with clients from across the country, focusing solely on hospitality.
“We designed the Society to be daring, obsessive, experimental, and boundless. The clients we’ll work with are bold enough to push the edge of design, and that’s what we’re going to do,” says Bowery.
“Hospitality design influences everything we do, and as our firm continues to elevate design, the Society will add to the creative services we offer our clients,” adds firm president Dave Heater.
