San Francisco-based architecture and design firm BAMO has promoted associates Lauren McGuier and Addy Williams to senior associates.
McGuier joined the firm in 1998 after working with Holly McKinley Interior Design and NBBJ. An expert in interior architecture, McGuier has contributed to BAMO hospitality projects including the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, the Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli in Italy, and the Lake Austin Spa Resort in Texas. She earned a BFA in interior design from Cornish College of Arts in Seattle.
Williams has been involved in the industry for over 15 years, joining BAMO as a project manager in 2013, followed by a promotion to associate shortly after the close of her first year. In addition to contributing to business operations, Williams has been an asset on major firm projects like the Four Seasons Residences Bangkok, Capella Bangkok, VieVage Los Cabos, Inn at Spanish Bay, Hale Alani, Kohanaiki in Hawaii and a residence in Portola Valley, California. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in hotel design, as well as a certification in interior design and interior architecture from UC Berkeley extension. Her experience includes roles in Washington, DC at Cini-Little and with a general contractor.
