Boston-based architecture firm Bergmeyer has announced the addition of Amy Margolis as the firm’s new design practice leader. With more than 15 years of experience, Margolis will oversee the growth of the practice’s hospitality portfolio, while also serving the firm’s multi-unit residential design practice. She has previously worked on projects for hospitality brands including Marriott, Westin, and Kimpton.
“My early years working in advertising client service gave me the big-picture tools to understand brand strategy, client priorities, and project management,” says Margolis. “As a designer, my diverse background with projects big and small has given me valuable insight into how to effectively work with teams to define design strategy, implement creative solutions, and execute down to the last detail.”
“Amy is a multitalented design professional who will make an excellent addition to the firm. She brings a wealth of experience to her role as a design practice leader, and will be a great complement to our dynamic group of design talent,” adds Bergmeyer president Mike Davis.
