San Francisco-based firm BraytonHughes Design Studios has announced the promotion of Rachel Fischbach and Towan Kim to principal. Both designers joined the firm in 2001.
Fischbach has ample experience in luxury hotel design, contributing to projects such as the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, the Fairmont Nanjing, and the Four Seasons Resort Wailea and the Kukio Golf Clubhouse in Hawaii. Currently at work on the Alpine Club at the Spruce Peak Resort in Stowe, Vermont and the Village Core at the Yellowstone Club, Fischbach has received accolades from both the IIDA and AIA.
Kim, who co-leads the firm’s architectural studio, has completed numerous projects, including the Kukio Golf Club; the Four Seasons Resort in Maui; the Madison Club in La Quinta, California; the InterContinental San Francisco; and the Aetna Springs Golf Club in Napa. His work on Kukio received AIA Honor Awards on local, regional, and national levels.
