Brian McFarland has returned to the New York-based architecture firm CetraRuddy as its newest principal. McFarland, who holds more than 30 years of industry experience, was previously with the practice from 2004 to 2013. He most recently led the design of Virgin Hotels’ Manhattan property.
“We are delighted to have Brian back at CetraRuddy where he will now carry a leadership role,” says founding principal Nancy J. Ruddy. “Brian has that profound combination of being an exceptional designer coupled with technical expertise and history of understanding how to develop documents to create successfully built buildings.”
McFarland will serve as a member of CetraRuddy’s Executive Committee, which oversees all firm initiatives and projects in existing and new markets. A native New Yorker, McFarland received a degree from Pratt Institute.
