A series of executive changes have been announced at Carnegie Fabrics, including the appointment of its new CEO Jim Kaplan. Also joining the company’s board of directors, Kaplan first joined Carnegie last year to serve as president. In his new role, Kaplan will implement a strategic path forward to elevate the brand and better position it for growth in key markets.
“In just nine months since joining Carnegie, Jim has developed a strong understanding of our products and markets, and he has positioned Carnegie to continue its tradition of innovation and leadership in interior and architectural textiles,” says Ethan Thurow, a member of Carnegie’s board of directors. “I’m delighted that Jim will lead the company forward as it reaches new heights.”
Adam Weiss also joined the Carnegie team last month as CFO, bringing forth more than 15 years of public and private accounting experience. He most recently worked as vice president of finance with DCI-Design Communications. Another update to the Carnegie executive branch is the promotion of Erika Gaies, who now serves as executive vice president of sales, North America.
