Experiential travel company Collective Retreats has announced the appointment of Kerry Houghton as CDO and general counsel, as well as the addition of Heidi Kercher-Pratt as vice president of marketing. The new hires reflect the ongoing rapid expansion of the brand, which recently launched its first winter outpost in Texas and its first urban concept in New York.
“The addition of senior executive talent like Heidi and Kerry further strengthens Collective Retreats’ position as the industry leader in the experiential hospitality space and enhances the tremendous growth potential of the company,” says Simon Turner, advisor and investor in Collective Retreats. “I’m impressed by how the existing management team has added to the portfolio of properties, particularly the hugely successful Collective Governors Island, and significantly enhanced the distribution and customer relationship systems.”
Houghton brings forth 15 years of hospitality experience, previously lending expertise to companies such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts as well as Provenance Hotels. He also spent part of his career working as a lawyer specializing in finance and tech. In addition to tenure with Vail Resorts, Kercher-Pratt previously worked as a manager for her own independent marketing consultation business, HKP Consulting.
