Dream Hotel Group has launched its first global office in Bangkok. Michael Serrano will serve as COO for the Asia Pacific region, reporting to Asia Pacific managing director Kevin Wallace. Serrano has worked in the hospitality industry for two decades across the globe, most recently serving as CEO of Odyssea Hospitality in Ho Chi Minh City. He also held several roles in Thailand with Centara Hotels and Resorts. 

Dream Hotel Group plans to open more than 30 hotels and resorts in Asia over the next four years. The company most recently partnered with Empire Group to develop Unscripted Cocobay Danang in Vietnam, which is set to open in August.
The company also announced the signing of two hotel properties in the Maldives slated for debut in 2019 and 2020, respectively. In addition, the Dream Oceanami Villas & Spa in Long Hai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province—Dream Hotel’s first property in Vietnam—was recently signed and will open this summer as the first of four new resort concepts developed by Beegreen Group and managed by Dream Hotel Group in Vietnam over the next two years.
