Philadelphia-based architecture, engineering, and interior design firm EwingCole has acquired fellow architecture firm BBH Design. The deal not only enables EwingCole to expand its services, but also will incorporate BBH’s new visualization technology in order to better understand the relationship between occupants and the built environment. Each of BBH’s offices in Charlotte, Pittsburgh, and Raleigh will now operate under the EwingCole banner, which maintains offices in New York, Philadelphia, and Irvine, California.
“By joining EwingCole, a firm whose culture aligns with ours, we are able to draw on their talent to increase the services we provide our clients,” say BBH co-founders and managing principals Rich Beale and Douglas Hall. “EwingCole’s broad areas of expertise will not only enhance our regional presence, but it will also expand the types of clients we serve.”
“BBH Design’s team provides added leadership and expertise in many of the industries EwingCole serves,” adds EwingCole president Mark Hebden. “EwingCole and BBH Design share a strong focus on cultivating client relationships and being recognized as trusted advisors. We look forward to combining our resources, building on our current success, and expanding into new markets.”
