Steven Upchurch will join Cindy Simpson as co-managing director of Gensler’s Dallas office where he will assist in leading the firm’s team in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Upchurch has moer than three decades of architectural experience, working at RTKL and ClubCorp before joining Gensler’s Los Angeles office in 2007.
During his time with Gensler, Upchurch has worked on projects including the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills, the master plan of the Queen Mary Island Entertainment District, and the Belmond El Encanto Resort and Villas in Santa Barbara, California. A graduate of Kansas State University, he holds a bachelor of architecture and is a registered architect in Texas.
