Interior designer Hans J. Galutera has launched the New York- and Melbourne-based studio HG Designworks. The new studio will offer an array of interior design services including mixed-use, luxury residential, and hospitality projects.
“Our interior design schemes always include creative interior detailing as well as conceptual architectural planning of each unique location,” Galutera says. “We offer interior architectural drawings, and managing the collaborative process with all teams involved. This gives real value to the client by making a substantial impact in the functionality of interior space but also increases financial return of their investment with the interior design solutions.”
Galutera previously served as a co-founder and principal of BG Studio International in New York, where he introduced design concepts for a new line of ships for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Club Cruises. He has served as the New York chapter president of the IIDA and is an honorary member of the Society of British and International Design as well as a professional member of the Design Institute of Australia. In New York, Galutera sits on the advisory board for the State University of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology.
