Global architecture firm HKS Hospitality has appointed Mark Kowalski and Jacqueline King as vice president and associate, respectively, in the firm’s London office.
Kowalski most recently served as the associate director and senior design manager at UK-headquartered real estate firm Turner & Townsend, where he contributed to projects including the Peninsula Hotel and One Grosvenor Place at Hyde Park Corner in London. He also has worked for HOK, WATG, and Wimberly Interiors, where he rose to a senior associate, project design manager role. Kowalski’s portfolio also includes Macau’s Lisboa Palace, the forthcoming mega casino, hotel-resort, and theme park. At HKS, he is working on a 5-Star hotel and residences in Montenegro, and the re-masterplanning of the Punta Scala Resort in Croatia.
Hailing from South Africa, King has also held positions with WATG and Wimberly Interiors, in addition to a prior role with HOK. Projects including the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita and the Plantation Hotel and Apartments in Dubai are featured in her portfolio.
