The 41st iteration of HostMilano, the macro furniture, technology, and design event dedicated to the hospitality industry, will be held at fieramilano from October 18th – 22nd. This year’s show will forecast the many ways technology will reimagine the industry in this millennium and beyond.
HostMilano 2019 will comprise four themed areas for work, mind, body, and relaxation that each symbolize the hotel industry’s path to the future. Robotics will serve as a key fixture of this year’s show along with sustainability and human touch. Drawing upon data and events like the opening of the first robot-staffed hotel will inform how the show will focus on the Millennial market’s impact on the advancement of hospitality.
The main hub of HostMilano, FUTURBAR&Co – Hospitality: back to the future, will be crafted by local architecture firm Mussapi to showcase vintage and contemporary furniture across more than 3,200 square feet. Seven workshops will also be featured in this year’s programming, organized by HostMilano in collaboration with POLI.design and highlight hot topics like new urban scenarios, luxury, and new technology.
