Wimberly Interiors, WATG’s interior design group, has named Hussain Kamal associate vice president of its Los Angeles studio. In his new role, Kamal, former senior vice president and managing director for Wilson Associates, will develop and nurture client relations while also focusing on strategic business development, working closely with counterparts in Wimberly’s offices in New York, Miami, London, Dubai, Honolulu, and Singapore.
Kamal is a 22-year veteran of the industry, contributing to major projects such as the Venetian Macau and Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Palace as well as luxury properties for Conrad, Four Seasons, Hilton, and MGM. He earned his bachelor of architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a master of architecture from University of Oklahoma.
