Interstate Hotels & Resorts has appointed Stephen K. Miller as its new senior vice president of development and acquisitions, to report directly to company CIO Leslie Ng.
“With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Stephen’s proven leadership experience and record for obtaining results in established hospitality companies makes him a perfect addition to Interstate,” says Ng. “His appointment adds further depth to the company’s global development team and expanding management platform.”
Previously senior vice president of development at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Miller was responsible for growing the Tryp and Dream brand portfolios via the signing of management, investment, and franchise agreements in North America and the Caribbean.
He has additionally held senior-level positions with Carlson Hotels Worldwide and Strategic Hotels & Resorts, where he was involved in acquiring more than $1 billion of luxury hotel assets. He also served as president and CEO of Arlington Hospitality.
Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
