Irvine, California-based design firm Ware Malcomb has expanded with the addition of Denver-based civil engineering firm Jansen Strawn Consulting Engineers. The partnership will significantly increase the scope of the firm’s civil engineering services.
Chris Strawn and Tom Jansen will continue to serve as principals and oversee the firm’s civil engineering practice across the country in addition to North American expansion efforts. Previously a studio manager at Ware Malcomb, Strawn was integral in helping launch the company’s civil engineering services.
“As principals for Ware Malcomb, Chris and Tom will oversee the civil engineering practice for not only Denver but the entire company along with leading the expansion of these services nationally. We welcome their leadership and the depth of knowledge and expertise they will contribute to Ware Malcomb,” says Ware Malcomb CEO Lawrence R. Armstrong.
The 40-person firm will now operate as Jansen Strawn Consulting Engineers, a Ware Malcomb Company, and will maintain its current office in Denver. Ware Malcomb also has an office in Denver.
