JANUS et Cie, the indoor and outdoor Los Angeles-based furnishings company, opened its flagship showroom in Singapore.

The flagship showroom stands adjacent to the Raffles Singapore and directly across from the new South Beach development in the Bras Basah Bugis District. The neighborhood boasts the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, the National Library, the National Museum of Singapore, and the Singapore Art Museum as well as many design firms and stores.
“The location of our flagship was as carefully considered as the establishment of our international headquarters in Singapore a year ago,” says Soren Clausen, senior vice president of international operations. “The rapid development in the neighborhood gives us exceptional opportunities to engage current and new clients.”
A pair of signature gold leaf topiary trees greets visitors at the showroom entrance. Inside, signature JANUS et Cie elements—faux topiary hedges, chair walls, and textile displays—establish the aesthetic. Rooms divided by windowed walls showcase an array of indoor and outdoor collections.
JANUS et Cie’s flagship marks the company’s continued growth in the residential, contract, and hospitality sectors in the region, which includes Australia, China, Japan, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Thailand.
