Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is pleased to announce three esteemed panels of industry leaders and innovators who will choose the winners and finalists for the 14th annual HD Awards for project, nightlife, and product submissions.
This year’s project judges are:
Kirstin Bailey, executive vice president of interior design, Ian Schrager Company
Mari Balestrazzi, vice president of Americas design services, Hyatt
John Meadow, founder and president, LDV Hospitality
Molly Swyers, chief brand officer, 21c Museum Hotels
Mark Zeff, owner, MARKZEFF
This year’s nightlife judges are:
Scott Gerber, principal and CEO, Gerber Group
Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse, cofounders, Masquespacio
Jason Strauss, partner, TAO Group
This year’s product judges are:
Karen Herold, founder, Studio K
Gulla Jónsdóttir, principal, Gulla Jónsdóttir Architecture + Design
Barry Richards, principal and studio leader, Rockwell Group
Projects spans 23 categories including new additions, such as Wellness, Restorations, and distinct Upscale and Luxury Hotel categories. Innovative products are recognized in 11 categories such as Casegoods + Furniture, Wallcoverings, Furniture, and Accessories. The finalists will be announced in April, and the winners will be revealed and celebrated at a ceremony at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018.
New this year, the HD Nightlife Awards spans 10 categories that best define the nightclub and bar industry, such as Hotel Bar or Lounge and Dayclubs. Finalists will be announced at the beginning of March. Nightlife winners and finalists will be celebrated at Marquee Las Vegas on Monday, March 26th, 2018 during the Nightclub & Bar show. They also will be recognized at our ceremony in New York on June 6th at Cipriani 25 Broadway.
All winners and finalists will be featured in the June issue of HD magazine. More information and tickets for the events will be available soon.
We are no longer accepting submissions for the HD Nightlife Awards. However, there is still time to submit to the project and product awards. The deadline is March 6th.
