Kimberly Timmons Interiors (KTI) has announced the addition of Shelley Thomson as project manager. She brings a range of hospitality experience, and has worked on projects all over the world.
Thomson began her career as an in-house designer at Fairfield Resorts (now Wyndham) in 2002. She then went on to work at several design studios, where she focused on resort design. In three years with Wilson Associates in Dallas, Shelley worked on several 5-Star resorts including the Venetian in Macau; Atlantis the Palm in Dubai; and the Peabody Hotel in Orlando.
“It’s really important to find a true balance in the design that provides the guest with a sense of escape while still being an efficient business resource,” says Thomson.
“Shelley brings a tremendous amount of hospitality design knowledge to our team and big project experience,” says KTI principal Kimberly Timmons-Buetner. “We are excited to add depth to our already strong team and will pursue more coveted design opportunities with Shelley in place.”
