Architect and designer Jackson Butler has joined Looney & Associates as the architecture and design firm’s new director of lifestyle design. A licensed California architect with more than 25 years in the industry, Butler will also serve as managing director for the firm’s Honolulu office. Butler collaborated with Looney & Associates on several projects during his tenure with EDG Interior Architecture and Design. He has also worked with Brooks + Scarpa and Gehry Partners.
“It’s very exciting for us to have him in Hawaii, managing and growing efforts there and also collaborating with our mainland offices,” says Looney & Associates founder and president Jim Looney. “Jackson’s experience in design, architecture, food and beverage, and international projects will push our design capabilities in new directions, and I look forward to seeing his influence in our company.”
