Julianne Cary, who has been with the practice since 2005, has worked on many high-profile projects, such as the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.
Former project leader and designer Mark Cary joined Looney & Associates in 2011 and has lent his expertise to projects including Omni at the Battery Atlanta and the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. Jenna Higginbotham, who also joined in 2011, rounds out the promotions. She provided design direction on notable projects like the Lodge at Gulf State Park and the JB Duke Hotel in Durham, North Carolina.
“These new associates have proven themselves to be the best in design, creativity, and leadership, not only within our firm but also in our industry,” said Looney & Associates founder Jim Looney. “By channeling their energy and talent through effective mentorship, we are building an even stronger firm. We are clearly looking to the future.”
