Marriott International has announced its entry into the homesharing market with a six-month pilot partnership with UK-based home rental company Hostmaker. The program will be accessible via TributePortfolioHomes.com, which will offer users more than 200 home options in London. Each abode listed on the Tribute Portfolio website will include one or more bedrooms, full kitchens, and laundry facilities, as well as additional amenities like dedicated phone support and an in-person check-in experience.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and AccorHotels have also recently tested the waters of the homesharing industry, with the latter consolidating all three of its homeshare acquisitions—Onefinestay, Squarebreak, and Travel Keys—under the Onefinestay banner. Hyatt also extended its World of Hyatt program to include Oasis earlier this year following its prior investment in the company.
