Meliá Hotels has announced that it will manage the Palacio de Congresos de Palma, a new conference center in Palma de Mallorca, along with the adjoining Meliá Palma Bay hotel. The conference space is designed to attract meetings, incentives, conferences, and events tourism in the Spanish resort city.
The seafront Patxi Mangado-designed conference center will include 68,500 square feet of meeting space for up to 3,100 visitors, including the 10,000-square-foot Magna room. The Meliá Palma Bay will house 268 guestrooms as well as a bar, restaurant, spa, a swimming pool, and additional meeting facilities.Â
Meliá is currently the largest hotel group in Spain and the third largest in Europe.Â
