Annapolis, Maryland-based food service consulting firm Next Step Design has named Leif Billings regional director for the Northeast.
Billings will assist with bolstering the company’s growing project and client portfolio throughout New York and the surrounding region.

With experience in the foodservice and construction industries, Billings has held several front- and back-of the-house restaurant positions. He worked as a carpenter from 2004 to 2007 before joining Clevenger Frable LaVallee (CFL) as a project manager. He was promoted to project director and senior project director at CFL before his recent appointment with Next Step Design.
Billings earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and teaching from New York’s Nyack College in 2003.
