Programming has been announced for the 39th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference. Hosted by The NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. TIsch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, the conference will take place June 4th-6th at the New York Marriott Marquis.
This year’s conference will include “The CEOs Check In: A View from the Top” on Monday, June 5th. Moderated by Bloomberg Television anchor Betty Liu, the discussion will feature Park Hotels & Resorts chairman and CEO Thomas J. Baltimore, Jr.; AccorHotels chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin; Hyatt Hotels president and CEO Mark S. Hoplamazian; and Expedia president and CEO Dara Khosrowshahi.
The second day will open with the “Leaders’ Forum,” which will include a discussion with Trump Hotels CEO Eric Danziger; Best Western president and CEO David Kong; MGM Resorts chairman and CEO James J. Murren; Mandarian Oriental Hotel Group chief executive James Riley; and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts president and CEO J. Allen Smith. Adam F. Weissenberg, Deloitte’s national managing partner of audit clients and industries and global leader of travel, hospitality, and leisure, will moderate.
“The Leaders Check In—Part Two” will take place on the final day of the conference, moderated by Scott D. Berman, Pricewaterhouse Cooper principal and industry leader for hospitality and leisure. Sitting on the discussion are Chris Cahill, CEO at Luxury Brands, AccorHotels; Steve Haggerty, global head of capital strategy, franchising, and select service at Hyatt Hotels Corporation; Kevin J. Jacobs, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Hilton; Elie Maalouf, CEO for The Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG); and Mit Shah, chief executive officer and senior managing principal at Noble Investment Group.
One-on-one conversations this year will feature conversations with ABC News’ Rebecca Jarvis and Marriott International president CEO Arne Sorenson. Conference chair Jonathan M. Tisch will speak with political analyst and author Nicole Wallace at the annual “Beyond the Boardroom” session.
