Fort Lauderdale-based architecture and design firm EDSA has announced the appointment of principal Richard Centolella as a member of the esteemed American Society of Landscape Architects’ (ASLA) Council of Fellows in the Works category. The fellowship is one of ASLA’s most prestigious designations, recognizing members for their work as well as their leadership, service, and merit.
Centolella first joined EDSA in 1989 and has since amassed a portfolio of more than 300 landscape and sculpture projects, such as the Castiglion del Bosco in Italy and Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. In addition to ASLA, he is a member of numerous leadership groups such as the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute. A registered landscape architect in seven states, Centolella earned his bachelor of landscape architecture degree cum laude from State University of New York at Syracuse University.
