Jorge Giannattsio joins Los Angeles-based lifestyle hospitality brand sbe as COO. He will oversee daily operations across the sbe platform alongside founder and CEO Sam Nazarian.
Giannattsio holds 25 years of experience in the industry, serving in a variety of leadership roles with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, he served as senior vice president/chief of Latin America and Caribbean operations. In that role, he doubled the pace of Starwood’s Latin American development and oversaw the operation, development quality, and financial performance of 100 hotels in more than 19 countries. Giannattsio also executed the signing and opening of the Four Points by Sheraton La Habama, the first U.S. hotel in Cuba since 1959.
Giannattasio previously worked with Deloitte for a decade in Buenos Aires and the U.S., and later went on to pursue finance and accounting roles with the Boston Scientific Corporation. He received a CPA from the University of Buenos Aires and a degree in business management from the IAE School of Management in Paris.
