Boyd Tasker has joined Steelyard, the Tampa Bay-based trade and design connectivity platform, as executive vice president. He will be tasked with overseeing new brand and sales initiatives as well as the expansion of existing industry partnerships. Tasker previously served as the director of business development for the gift and home branch of the International Market Center in Las Vegas. Tasker also worked as the associate publisher for Ziff-Davis magazines, group publisher for Hoyt Publishing, and executive director of sales and marketing for Whereoware digital marketing agency.
Tasker and his wife Christi recently founded the Wynwood Lab, a design incubator and salon-style event space in Miami.
