Dallas-based firm Studio 11 Design recently added two senior level staff members—Michael Harper, who joins as senior project architect, and Michael L. Brown as brand and project manager. The hires come as the firm looks to extend its reach to South America and the Caribbean, attract more top-tier hotel group clients, and launch an internal brand identity development service.
Harper brings 24 years of experience with global firms including ForrestPerkins, Leo A. Daly, and t. howard + associates. His portfolio includes large hotel projects both domestic and abroad, banks, and multi-story apartments.
In her still young career, Brown has worked on projects such as a Kempinski boutique hotel and spa in Beijing, Sofitel Rio de Janiero, Marriott Bloom Central in Abu Dhabi, and Eko Atlantic Marina District luxury residences in Lagos, Nigeria. Her travels for past work have helped shape her design aesthetic, which she will employ leading Studio 11 Design’s brand society services, as well as serving as a project manager.
