New York-based interior design firm Studio GAIA has launched its new Asia branch in Seoul. Opened as part of an effort to expand the firm’s portfolio in the Asia Pacific markets, the new office will be led by Seuk Hoon Kim, who will serve as creative director of Studio GAIA Seoul. The office is situated in the central, upscale district of Dosan Park, Gangnam.
“As previously Studio GAIA was more focusing on North America and Latin America hospitality projects, this first international office of Studio GAIA in Seoul will be the new outpost to satisfy the fast-paced needs of Asia and Pacific market,” says Kim.
Studio GAIA Seoul is slated to reveal its design of the W Hotel Panama City in January 2018.
