Chicago-based Studio Rendering has promoted co-founder Ash Mohammed to chief creative officer.
Mohammed previously served as vice president of visual experience for the firm, which was founded in 2006. In his new position, he will be responsible for managing the artistic vision and execution of visual communication for the design industry.
“Ash is someone who really understands what it means to engage an artist, empower them with tools and technology, and understands how to bring art and technology together to create breathtaking computer-generated illustrations and animations,” says Sonny Sultani, the company’s CEO.
Mohammed has won a litany of awards and competitions, such as the Congressional Art Competition for the 9th Congressional District, the Award for Excellence from the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, and the Chicago Cut & Paste global 3D competition.
“The minute you meet Ash you’re presented with an intelligent and focused individual who is extremely humble and eager to hear about your project as if it’s his first,” says Sultani. “He has completed more than 2,000 projects and received numerous accolades.”
