Registration has opened for Hospitality Design’s Platinum Circle Awards Gala, taking place this year on November 15th at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel. Honoring an elite group of history- and tastemakers, the annual event will recognize six industry heavyweights who have changed the hospitality design field.

This year’s honorees are John Ceriale, president and founder of Prospect Hotel Advisors and consultant for Blackstone Group; chef and Top Chef co-host Tom Colicchio; and husband-and-wife team Kit and Tim Kemp of Firmdale Hotels. Jeffrey Beers International will be awarded with the Visionary Award, commemorating three decades of creative excellence. Renowned designer Clodagh will receive the Manny Steinfeld Award, given to an industry figure who demonstrates outstanding humanitarianism, for her work with Kenya’s Samburu tribe through the Thorntree Project.
Now in its 28th year, HD’s Platinum Circle celebrates hospitality designers, architects, owner-operators, and purchasers for their career achievements. Past recipients include Nobu Matsuhisa, Adam D. Tihany, Kemper Hyers, David Rockwell, Alexandra Champalimaud, Jean-Michel Gathy, and nearly 100 more.
