Along with launching a new online and mobile platform, Trade Only Design Library (TODL) has rebranded as Steelyard, a new online platform for design industry commerce.
“Our innovative use of technology has enabled us to build a completely unique web and mobile experience that flows with the actual process of design,” explains founder Stacey Tiveron. “We’ve streamlined the design process end-to-end to enable professionals to digitally search, locate (online or in-person), spec, and organize products within projects, as well as initiate product orders. Founded in 1997, TODL originally offered a digital collection of interior design product catalogs but has grown to provide a series of more comprehensive online services.

Steelyard represents an augmented version of that experience with a mobile-accessible platform that is customizable to better meet user preferences. It features improved search capability, enhanced project management ability, and streamlined brand communication.
Steelyard also offers an analytics platform and sales portal for manufacturers.
Members are able to upload outside data into project folders to create Preferred Brand libraries, tag favorites, request samples, obtain quotes, and view links to industry relevant events and trade shows, such as HD Expo.
