Publishing news magazine Folio: has named its finalists for the 2017 Eddie & Ozzie Awards. Hospitality Design (HD) was recognized as a finalist in the Eddie Award category of B-to-B – Series of Articles – Design/Advertising/Marketing for its July 2016 and December 2016 issues.
HD’s annual People issue from July 2016 profiled significant Women of Influence in the industry, while the December 2016 Trendspotting series highlight 21 movements, ideas, and people that are challenging the status quo. Finalists for the annual awards, which recognize excellence in magazine editorial and design across all industry sectors, were selected by a panel of more than 300 jurors from nearly 2,800 entries.
“These two special sections were labors of love for the entire team and we are honored to be a two-time finalist amongst such a range of great media outlets,” says HD editor in chief/associate publisher Stacy Shoemaker Rauen.
