Valor Hospitality Partners has announced the appointment of Dwayne Marshall to the role of chief development officer. The announcement arrives on the heels of notable expansion in Valor’s portfolio, which has so far added six hotels in 2022. Marshall will lead the execution of the company’s growth strategy in the U.S., while also continuing to nurture strategic relationships with hotel ownership groups, brands, asset managers, brokers, and the hotel investment community at large.
“As our U.S. portfolio continues to rapidly grow, it was a top priority for Valor to expand our corporate leadership team to include a chief development officer,” says Valor CEO and cofounder Euan McGlashan. “With his proven track record of success in the industry, Dwayne is a perfect fit for the role and we are thrilled to welcome him to our team.”
“I’ve long admired Valor Hospitality’s reputation in the industry, and when I was approached about interest in this role, it was an easy decision to make,” Marshall adds. “I’m thrilled to join Valor’s corporate leadership team, continuing to maintain and enhance the organization’s impressive growth strategy.”
Marshall previously held leadership positions at Chesapeake Hospitality, Marriott International, and IHG.
