Wanda Hotels & Resorts has appointed Qian Jin as its new president. Qian will be responsible for managing the company’s international growth plan and collective goals.

With more than 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, he began his career in 1986 at Starwood’s Sheraton Hua Ting Hotel in Shanghai. In 2000, Qian joined Starwood’s regional headquarters in Singapore where he was in charge of Greater China operations. He was then named president of Greater China in 2012. In this role, he introduced new regional initiatives, expanded upon the brand’s footprint and pipeline, and established the country’s regional office in Shanghai.
Qian earned his MBA from Australia’s Bond University and his doctoral degree in business administration from Victoria University.
