Global design company West Elm has announced the launch of a new retail partnership with Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI. A selection of MUJI’s minimalist homegoods and accessories will now be available for purchase on West Elm’s website. Spanning nearly 100 items across categories from kitchen and bathroom to housekeeping and stationary, the collaboration yields the largest assortment of MUJI products accessible online through another U.S. retailer.
“MUJI’s products are highly functional and oriented around the universal tasks and moments of daily life,” says Toru Akita, president of MUJI U.S.A. Limited. “The essence of a MUJI product lies in its simplicity, flexibility, and modesty to fit different lifestyles and individual preferences. We are thrilled that a curated selection of our product line will join West Elm’s family of homeware essentials and hope this partnership inspires customers to easily integrate functional organization techniques into the design of their home.”
